Juice & Smoothie Craze

Unless you have been living under a rock, you should know that one of the latest health trends is “juicing” or “smoothies” I for one have also jumped on this craze and I don’t think this is a fad that will be going away! There are truly so many benefits to having even just one juice a day. You can drink yourself to health, weight loss, and more youthful skin. Juicing/smoothies is the easiest way to consume your necessary daily intake of vitamins. I for one could not possibly consume all of the vegetables that you can drink in one juice. Since I began juicing, added with a good routine of daily meditation, workouts, proper sleep, and lots of water, I have never felt more energy and my skin has never looked more radiant. You can use the most expensive beauty products in the world, spend thousands of dollars on procedures, but until you start taking care of your body from the inside first you will never find anything more affective when it comes to your mental, physical, and spiritual health. Like you have heard time and time again, your body is a machine. What you put in to your body will directly affect how well your machine runs and performs for you.

I plan on sharing with you some of my favorite recipes and their health benefits. Today I am starting with a blended green smoothie. This one helps improve energy, helps detox, strengthens the immune system, and replenishes dehydrated skin. 

Green Banana Smoothie

2 Bananas
2 Kiwi Fruits
1 Handful of Seedless Grapes
1 Handful of Kale
10 Tablespoons of Apple Juice
2 Drops of liquid Kelp
1 Cup of Coconut Water
1 Scoop of Collagen Powder
