Now it’s time to talk about all of the fun, incredible, once in a lifetime stuff to do in Dubai and Abu Dhabi!! Lets begin with…

THE DUBAI MALL

Of course knowing me, I LOVE FASHION. So we had to make a stop at the worlds largest mall. The Dubai Mall, the size of 50 football fields with literally every brand known to man, has the worlds largest aquarium & zoo with one of the largest reptiles in captivity the King Croc (750 kg), an indoor ski resort, is the only place in the world where you can play with penguins, an ice skating rink and more.

BURJ KHALIFA

The worlds tallest structure ever built 2,722f (829.8m) tallest & fastest elevator, highest nightclub, highest swimming pool & observation deck, the worlds tallest fountains, and 30 acres of manmade lake. And to top it off all LED paneling for a spectacular nightly light show.

BURJ AL ARAB

The Burj Al Arab is the worlds only 7 Star Luxury Hotel, set on a manmade island and shaped like a sailboat. My boyfriend and I enjoyed an incredible dinner at the top restaurant Al Muntaha. The menu is the size of a novel and if you really feel like splurging the Birth of an Icon” cocktail is just a measly $4,500 with sprinkled gold dust. Yes, you read that correctly. $4,500. The View was exquisite. I highly recommend the Winters Remedy Cocktail, with spice and chocolate if you don’t want to spend the $4,500 on gold dust! It was in fact, literally the best cocktail I have ever tasted.

Other things to do in Dubai…

Desert Safari with belly dancing and henna, the brunch at the Atlantis, the manmade Palm Island, skydiving over Palm Island, walk the JBR marina, the Mall of Emirates, Wild Wadi Waterpark, Barasti Beach Club, Arabian Tea Gardens, The Palace Hotel, Souk AL Bahaar, The Jetty Lounge, and too much more to list! Pretty much whatever you can imagine.

ABU DHABI

If you can, I highly recommend taking a day trip to Abu Dhabi! It is about an hour away from Dubai. They are slightly more conservative so just be wary of your dress.

FERRARI WORLD

Being a girl from Indiana and a race fan, this was so much fun to visit. Ferrari World is home of the worlds fastest rollercoaster, Formula Rossa that goes from 0 to 149 mph in 5 seconds. It’s so fast you have to wear protective eyewear to ride. This is the middle easts leading tourist attraction.

SEIKH ZAYED MOSQUE

If you would like to learn more about the history and culture of the country I recommend taking a tour of the Seikh Zayed Mosque, the key site of worship. Modest clothing is essential, they will also give you appropriate clothing for the tour, like a head scarf. When we went it was unfortunately closed early because of Ramadan but I believe this is one of the best ways to understand and learn more about the country and religion.

There is also a water park in Abu Dhabi called, YAS World.

Well that is what I recommend checking out if you are thinking of visiting Dubai & Abu Dhabi! I hope that this list is helpful for planning your trip. It is truly a one of a kind place in the world!
